2 Chronicles 20:15 - He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.
With any medication that you take there is always a side effect. Some side effects can be slight while others are serious enough to need medical attention.

With the flu season upon us, are there any serious side effects for those suffering from chronic pain or an illness from being vaccinated for the flu? And are the negative effects worth the benefit?

First let's take a look at the positive effects of getting the flu shot according to cdc.gov/flu, in their article, “What are the Benefits of Flu Vaccination?” such as reducing the risk of flu-associated hospitalization.

Please remember – before taking any shot or starting a new medication be certain to speak to your doctor first. And, if you do get the shot please let your doctor know or get to the emergency room of your local hospital if you find yourself having a severe reaction.

Let's take a look at the negative side effects of the flu vaccination on accineinjuryhelpcenter.com in their article, "Flu Vaccine Guillian Barre, CIDP And Disabling Nerve Conditions," such as numbness in hands and feet and weakness.

After you weigh the pros and cons of getting the flu shot, whether you decide to get the shot or not, remember you don’t have to battle the flu season alone. Ultimately all of our battles belong to the Lord including this one. If you get sick, God will comfort you. If you stay well then you’ll know that you didn’t stay free from sickness alone. The Lord was right there with you.
