2 Corinthians 12:10 - That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Disabled. It’s a word that you may have been told to you, because you struggle with chronic pain or illness. We often see ourselves as someone weak. But if you drop the first three letters of disabled you come up with – abled.
Because of your disability you are in a unique position. You have an ability to encourage others who are hurting that those who aren’t disabled don’t have. Our weakness can become our strength.
If you’ve been labeled disabled, do you see it as a strength or weakness?
