Proverbs 16:9 - In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. Being flexible isn’t always easy for type “A” personalities. We tend to want to have everything planned out before beginning our day. And then, something happens to side track us. But what we thought was messing up our day actually brought about a chance to do something we wouldn’t normally do. And that can lead to joy and strengthening of our confidence. It’s good to plan for things, but not to try to insure that nothing will happen to mess up those plans. Do you struggle with wanting everything to happen as you’ve planned for it to be? Is “flexible” not even in your vocabulary? Let’s talk about it.
