Proverbs 12:26 - A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
The true meaning of being a friend is a two-sided relationship where one person doesn’t grasp the other’s hand too tightly. There can be a burnout period if our friends feel like we’re draining them instead of encouraging and filling them up. Friends are important in our lives, but we must be careful to not wear out our welcome. Work towards making your relationships two-sided then you can give strength to each other and make the bond of that friendship grow and stay alive. Do you have one-sided or two-sided relationships? What do you do to keep your friendships from suffering burnout? Let’s talk about it.
