Psalm 38:4 - My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear. Everybody has bad days. However, when scorn and derision come your way you may think that it’s your fault, but it’s not. Someone may try to make you believe that all of the problems in their life are your fault. But sometimes it’s just a bad day. Nothing more. Nothing less. Don’t take it upon yourself and feel weighed down by trying to make all roads straight. You can’t and don’t need to do. Those around you will gradually see that you have grown as a person and are no longer going to let others blame the world on you. So the next time someone goes into a tirade at how things are your fault, remind them that you aren’t God and you don’t control what happens. It can be a scary process, but you’ll find yourself growing into the strong person that God wants you to be.
