Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you where you go. It takes great courage for us to get out of bed each morning. We don’t want to face another day in sickness and pain. But still somehow, we ease ourselves out of bed and move into our day. If any of what I’m writing applies to you then listen carefully: You’re a warrior. You’re a champion. You’re brave. You’re worth the effort it takes to prepare yourself for the new day. Don’t worry how quickly it takes to move into your day, just make sure you do move into your day and not spend the whole day in bed.
