Deuteronomy 29:29 - The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
At one time or another we have all held a secret inside. Perhaps we’re worried what others would think of us if we shared it with them. But the longer you hold onto your secret the more it seems to grow. Being honest can help you heal your secret. I’m so glad that when I feel vulnerable to share something deep inside that there is someone who will hold me close and listen – God. No matter where you are or what you’re doing God is ready to hold you in his arms while your secret comes tumbling out. He will never think less of you. In fact, God loves those who trust him enough to tell him anything.
Do you have a secret that your heart is crying out for you to share it and let someone in? I know it can be difficult to open up this way. We’re here if you choose to share it.
