Luke 14:10 - But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. How do you get yourself into trouble? Is it willful disobedience or is it not doing what you know is the right thing to do? Is it when feeling caulis about someone else’s suffering or is it only caring about what will work out for me regardless of how it will affect someone else? What I’m trying to say is there are many ways to get yourself into trouble on the job, with your friends and with your families. It all starts with one step toward, “My needs come first.” Try putting others first for a whole day. You might be surprised about the result and it might spur you on to focusing on others every day.
