1 Samuel 16:7 - But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” In your past people may have hurt you. Now, it’s difficult not to be afraid of other people and what they might do to you. But not everyone is an abuser. There are kind people and those who show us compassion because of the pain we carry. Find a few kind people to be around and your fear of other people will grow to a mere whisper in your mind. Are you afraid of other people and how they may hurt you because you were hurt in the past? Is it hard for you to believe there are kind and compassionate people around you? Let’s talk about it. I’d love to hear from you.
