Isaiah 61:3 - And provide for those who grieve in Zion -- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Do you tend to see only the bad around you? The ridiculous political scene and elections, hurricanes, devastation of our hearts and homes, family stresses, or a health crisis hitting your loved one? There is always bad out there. But the good is there, too. Think about how we live in a beautiful place. That you have a roof over your head. And that there’s a God who loves you and wants to fill you with his joy.
Do you struggle with seeing only the bad? Is there something specific you’ve found that can help you see the good? I look forward to hearing from you. |
